Expectations for Tokenization
Armstrong pointed out that memecoins are not merely playful cryptocurrencies but herald a structure that will allow artists to receive payment for their works. He shared his view that this situation would lead to the transfer of every asset class and digital content to a blockchain environment.
“Memecoins mark the beginning of a mechanism that ensures artists receive the payment they deserve for their works. Anyone should be able to monetize their creations. This domain will be increasingly tokenized and transferred to the network.”
